LIVE PAINTING

Observe the incredible visionary artist Katia Honour at work.

Katia’s paintings explore transcendental states of consciousness. Though the ‘unseen’ is notoriously difficult to convey, her art offers a philosophical viewpoint which feels unreal, yet strangely familiar.

Katia has developed a contemporary, visual language which draws upon romanticism and psychedelia. Her plays of light, surrealism, realism and abstraction offer different perspectives into the phenomenas of mysticism, madness and meditation.

Find her at the train station cafe and be captivated by her artist’s trance.

AN OFFERING FROM THE MASCULINE.

Artist Steve Willis is creating a special custom piece for Seven Sisters Festival and the women attending as an ‘offering from the masculine’ to show support of the women on their 3 day  transformational journeys.

His artwork is a fusion of sculpture and photography. Steven collects hard rubbish, recycled material, and found objects which are assembled into sculpture. These sculptures are reworked and captured in a single photograph without any digital manipulation or alteration.

THE TRAVELINHEARTS.

“The TravelinHearts is a place to connect with sisters and create  a heart from recycled fabric. The simple action of making a heart, with the intention of giving it to someone unknown, creates something truly special — a loving connection within. Celebrating the art of giving and receiving, story telling and sharing skills by crafting together. “
